Heritage and Conservation Register

Roads and Maritime maintains a Heritage and Conservation Register in accordance with S170 of the NSW Heritage Act.

The Heritage and Conservation Register identifies properties, infrastructure and assets that are owned or managed by Roads and Maritime that have been identified as having heritage significance.

The register is a dynamic database which is reviewed and updated regularly as assessments of significance are undertaken and as heritage items are identified.

You can view the register by accessing the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage State Heritage Inventory and searching for ‘Roads and Maritime Services’ in the ‘Owner Organisation’ search field.

This version of the Heritage Register may not be the most up-to-date. For current information on items in the Heritage and Conservation Register, please contact us.

Former NSW Maritime Heritage Listings

This list of heritage items and sites was identified by the former NSW Maritime for inclusion in their Heritage and Conservation Register. These listings are currently being investigated for Roads and Maritime Services ownership and addition to the Roads and Maritime Services Heritage and Conservation Register.
