Community Invited to Third Boundary Street Upgrade Community Info Session

Jonathan O'Dea, Member for Davidson, has announced Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) will host a third community information session on the concept design for the Boundary Street upgrade at Roseville on Tuesday 5 February 2013.

“RMS has extended the community consultation for the Boundary Street proposal to Friday 8 February to give community members more time to have their say,” Mr O'Dea said.

Community members are invited to a third community information session on Tuesday 5 February at Dougherty Community Centre, 7 Victor Street at Chatswood from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

A community letter will be distributed and advertisements placed in local papers to advise the community of this third and final session.

The $20 million Boundary Street widening project is part of the NSW Government’s $125 million Pinch Point Program which aims to reduce delays and manage congestion on Sydney’s main roads during peak periods, to improve road safety.

Community members can view the concept design at www.rms.nsw.gov.au/projects or order a community update by calling RMS Project Manager John Kalantzis on (02) 8849 2610.

Send your written feedback by Friday 8 February to John Kalantzis c/o Roads and Maritime Services, PO Box 973 Parramatta CBD, NSW 2124 or by email to John.Kalantzis@rms.nsw.gov.au.

Community comments about the proposed upgrade of Boundary Street will be considered by RMS.

A community issues report will be prepared and the issues considered in the review of environmental factors.

“The detailed design with any changes as a result of community comment would start after the extended consultation period,” said Mr O'Dea.
