Braidwood: Community drop in session for Draft Tree Management Plan

Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) will hold a drop in session on 13 February 2013 for interested community members to comment on a draft tree management plan for the Kings Highway at Braidwood, the Member for Monaro John Barilaro announced today.

"The information session is part of ongoing community engagement about roadside hazards on the Kings Highway at Braidwood," Mr Barilaro said.

"RMS has worked with Palerang Council and Corkery Consulting to prepare the draft plan for the avenues of trees on the Kings Highway at Braidwood after a tree management plan workshop held in 2012.

"The community is invited to comment on the plan until Monday 4 March.

"The drop in session will be held on Wednesday 13 February from 4.30pm to 7pm in the Council's meeting room at the Old Library on Park Lane at Braidwood.

"The information session will provide an opportunity for questions and discussion with the RMS project team."
