Night work on Great Western Highway from Lawson to Bullaburra
Member for Blue Mountains Roza Sage MP announced Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) will carry out night work to repair the road surface of the Great Western Highway from Ridge Street at Lawson to Genevieve Road at Bullaburra.
“RMS will carry out road surface repairs overnight on Wednesday 20 March 2013 from 8pm to 5am to remove and replace damaged sections of the highway between Kalinda Street and Genevieve Road,” Mrs Sage MP said.
“RMS traffic controllers will operate a contraflow near the work area to create a safe working space and to assist residents enter and exit properties and side streets.
“Minor delays are expected due to the changed traffic conditions.
“Every effort will be made to minimise noise for local residents and businesses with the noisiest activities planned to be completed by midnight.
“Up to date information regarding this work, including any date changes, will be displayed on electronic message signs along the roadway.
