Temporary Bullaburra Station car park relocation from 5 June

Roza Sage MP today reminded residents and motorists the Bullaburra Station car park will be temporarily relocated to the western side of the station while work is carried out for the Great Western Highway upgrade between Emu Plains and Katoomba.

"Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is widening the existing Great Western Highway between Emu Plains and Katoomba to a four lane, divided highway and the car park relocation is needed so work can be carried out in front of the station.

"Customers accessing Bullaburra Station are advised from Wednesday 5 June the station car park will be relocated to the western end of the train station while work is carried out for the upgrade," Mrs Sage MP said.

"To ensure safety, motorists must enter and exit the car park with a left turn from the station side lane. "Signs are now in place to remind train customers and motorists of upcoming access arrangements to the temporary car park.

"Residents have been sent a letter to advise of the change.

"Every effort will be made to minimise disruptions to motorists while the work is carried out.

"This stage of the upgrade is fully funded by the NSW Government," Mrs Sage MP said. For further information contact the RMS project team on 1800 729 939 or email BullaburraEast@rms.nsw.gov.au
