New School Zone for Springwood High School at Former Glenbrook Infants School
Pedestrian safety will receive a boost with a new 40 km/h school zone to be installed around the former Glenbrook Infants School campus on Ross Street as new Springwood High School facilities open at the site.
“New classes and a special education unit will be established for Springwood High School students at the former Glenbrook Infants School campus on Ross Street,” Roza Sage MP said.
"To improve the safety of students travelling to classes, the new school zone will be installed on Wascoe, Ross, Park and Raymond streets and Glen Lane at Glenbrook to operate from 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4pm on gazetted school days.
“The new school zone signs are expected to be installed from Friday 7 March, weather permitting.
“Roads and Maritime urges motorists to comply with the 40 km/h school zones to ensure the safety of all road users, especially students in this area.
