Have your say on bus zone plans for Stoney Creek Road
Parliamentary Secretary for Transport and Roads Ray Williams MP has invited the community to have a say on plans to relocate a bus stop and introduce timed parking on Stoney Creek Road, Beverly Hills.
“Roads and Maritime Services is proposing to relocate the current bus zone on Stoney Creek Road, west of the Penshurst Street intersection to 20 metres east of Mercury Street,” Mr Williams said.
Mr Williams said the plan forms part of Roads and Maritime’s ongoing commitment to ensure safe and efficient journeys for NSW motorists.
“The proposed location will allow buses on route 941 more time to merge into the right lane so they can safely turn into Penshurst Street.
“The existing bus zone would be replaced with parking as part of the proposal, to accommodate local businesses.
“Before we make a decision on these proposed changes, we are seeking comments from the community.
“We’d like to hear your comments about this proposal by Monday 24 March so they can be considered in our final assessment and decision.”
Feedback should be provided to Project Manager Brandon Morson c/o Roads and Maritime Services, PO Box 973, Parramatta NSW 2124, email Brandon.Morson@rms.nsw.gov.au.
