Have a say on No Stopping Zone on Marsh Street at Arncliffe
Member for Rockdale, Mr John Flowers, has today invited the community to give feedback to a proposed No Stopping Zone to be installed on Marsh Street, west of Cooks River at Wolli Creek to improve traffic flow and road safety.
Mr Flowers said "The Roads and Maritime Services propose to install No Stopping zones on Marsh Street between Flora Street and Levey Street at Wolli Creek to reduce congestion and improve travel times and traffic flow."
The change aims to reduce congestion for vehicles travelling north between the M5 Motorway exit and Sydney Airport increasing capacity on the road network." Mr Flowers said.
A clearway is already in place for northbound traffic during the morning weekday peak from 6am to 10am and there is unrestricted parking outside of these times.
"The proposed change would mean the removal of five parking spaces between Flora Street and Innesdale Road and 11 parking spaces between Innesdale Road and Levey Street.
Roads and Maritime invites written comments by Friday 18 April on the proposal to Network Optimisation Planner Sam Wassef c/o PO Box 973, Parramatta NSW 2124 or by email to Sam.Wassef@rms.nsw.gov.au
