Changed traffic conditions on Manning Street Tuncurry
Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead has today advised motorists using The Lakes Way to the north of Tuncurry that changed traffic conditions will be in place from next week to complete road upgrade work on Manning Street at Tuncurry.
“Roads and Maritime Services crews will carry out the work between Short Street and Cassandra Crescent for two days from Sunday 4 May between 3pm and 7am, and is expected to be completed by 7am on Tuesday 6 May, weather permitting,” Mr Bromhead said.
“The work will involve installing a new road surface and upgrading the line marking on the road. Lane closures, reduced speed limits and detours for access to North, Short and Bent streets will be in place.
“The work is expected to complete the Manning Street road rebuilding which will provide a safer and smoother road for motorists and reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
“The project is part of Roads and Maritime’s commitment to delivering safe, efficient and high quality services and infrastructure to the community and businesses of NSW.”
