Doyle applauds community feedback for Campbelltown Road design
Bryan Doyle MP is inviting community members to view changes of the planned Campbelltown Road upgrade between Camden Valley Way at Casula and Brooks Road.
Mr Doyle said “The NSW Government has provided $2 million this financial year to continue planning the upgrade of the 5.4 kilometres of Campbelltown Road.”
“The proposal to widen the road to six lanes from Camden Valley Way and Beech Road and to four lanes from Beech Road to Denham Court Road aims to increase capacity as the South West Growth Centre develops,” said Mr Doyle.
In response to community feedback, Roads and Maritime Services will reduce the width of the road to four lanes south of Zouch Road to reduce the impact to properties including historic Denham Court House.
“We thank the community for their feedback to date and will keep stakeholders informed as the work progresses, with project approval in place, RMS is now carrying out detailed design work,” Mr Doyle said.
