Cowra community invited to learn more about Kendal Street Upgrade: Katrina

The Nationals Member for Burrinjuck, Katrina Hodgkinson today encouraged the Cowra community to attend an information session on Wednesday, 13 August on the proposed upgrade of Kendal Street in Cowra.

“The NSW Government recently made a $2.4 million commitment to upgrade Cowra’s main street”, Katrina said.

“The proposed upgrade, planned to start early next year, will be carried out between Darling and Lachlan Streets.

“There are several sections of the road which require significant work to improve the road surface for the safety of all motorists,” Katrina said.

The meeting will be held at 7pm at Cowra Public School Hall in Vaux Street, Cowra.

Katrina said representatives from Roads and Maritime Services will provide interested members of the community with an overview of the proposed work.

“This will include the planned staging of the work and options for road closures and detours,” Katrina said.

The meeting is expected to take about an hour and a light supper will be provided.

Please RSVP to Roads and Maritime on 02 6861 1444 by Monday 11 August , for catering purposes.
