Double Bay to Rose Bay road maintenance
30 July 2015
Vaucluse MP Gabrielle Upton today welcomed the announcement that essential road maintenance work will be undertaken between Gladswood Gardens, Double Bay and Salisbury Road, Rose Bay.
“The work will consist of utility investigations, asphalting and line marking areas of the road,” Ms Upton said.
“The works are funded by the NSW Government and will improve safety for motorists as well as deliver a stronger, more durable road.”
“I consistently lobby Roads Minister Duncan Gay for improvements to our local roads and I am glad he has listened.”
“These works are in addition to the $1.5m upgrade to the ‘s-bends’ on New South Head Road between Dover Road and Hopetoun Avenue and maintenance works on Syd Einfeld Drive that have taken place in the last few years and are now complete.”
The work will take place across seven shifts between 2 August and 24 August 2015 and will not interfere with the upcoming City 2 Surf race.
