Have your say on a new electronic messaging sign on Beecroft Road in Cheltenham
10 December 2015
The community is invited to have a say on the proposed installation of a permanent electronic message sign on Beecroft Road in Cheltenham.
The proposal is part of the NSW Government’s $246 million Pinch Point Program
“The NSW Government has allocated $350,000 funding to build a new electronic message sign on Beecroft Road at Old Beecroft intersection to provide southbound road users with up-to-date information on traffic conditions, planned and unplanned incidents and events.
“The Pinch Point Program aims to reduce delays, manage congestion and also provide motorists with information to make decisions about their trip and improve their journey.
“All feedback on the electronic message sign in Cheltenham will be considered in finalising the proposal and community members are encouraged to have a say by Friday 18 December.
“Installation of electronic message signs at key locations across the network aims to provide motorists with advanced notice of planned and unplanned incidents across the road network.
“The community will continue to be updated as the project progresses”, Mr Tudehope said.
Community members are encouraged to provide feedback on the Beecroft Road electronic message sign by contacting LT Joint Venture, PO Box 380. Rockdale NSW 2216 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will carefully consider your feedback and continue to keep you updated as the proposal progresses.
