Online rego renewal just the ticket for the great outdoors
20 December 2015
Environment Minister Mark Speakman and Minister for Finance, Services and Property, Dominic Perrottet today announced discounts on National Park Passes for customers who renew their vehicle registration online.
“Customers who renew their vehicle registrations online through Service NSW will be entitled to $15 off the full price of two of the most popular annual national park passes,” Mr Speakman said.
The discount was an election commitment and applies to two of the most popular passes – All Parks and Multi-Parks Passes.
‘An annual pass means customers only need to pay a one-off fee for vehicle access to either one or a collection of the 45 fee collecting national parks.
“Vehicle single park entry fees range between $3 and $20 per visit, and with the $15 discount these annual passes are even better value.”
“Service NSW has been a game changer by making it easier to interact with government, saving time and money – allowing more time to do fun things like exploring our great national parks,” Mr Perrottet said.
“Whether it be renewing vehicle registration, applying for a NSW Seniors Card, or enrolling to vote, there are hundreds of transactions available 24-hours seven days per week through the www.service.nsw.gov.au website, Service NSW app, or by phoning 13 77 88.
“As we approach the warmer months there is no better time of the year to explore any of our state’s more than 850 national parks and reserves.”
Since 2013, Service NSW has served more than 26 million customers either face-to-face, online via digital channels, or through the contact centre.
