Have your say say on proposed night work scheduled on Putty Road at Wilberforce
Wednesday 2 November 2016
Members of the community are invited to provide feedback on a proposal to carry out night work on Putty Road at Wilberforce.
Member for Hawkesbury Dominic Perrottet said the NSW Government would fund the $900,000 maintenance program on Putty Road between King Road and Morilla Road at Wilberforce.
“Putty Road is a key link between the northern suburbs of Sydney and the Hunter region,” said Mr Perrottet.
“Essential maintenance work will include the removal and replacement of asphalt to provide a stronger, longer lasting and safer road.
“To minimise the impact on motorists, work will be carried out five nights a week for a four week period or two nights a week for a 32 week period.
“For both proposals, work hours will be from 8pm to 5am with noisier work completed before 11pm.”
Feedback can be provided by Friday 18 November to project delivery partner DownerMouchel, PO Box 6465, North Ryde, NSW, 2113 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All comments will be carefully considered and the community kept informed as work progresses.
