Changed traffic conditions as work continues on Foxground and Berry Bypass

11 November 2016

Member for Kiama Gareth Ward has today announced changed traffic conditions will be in place tomorrow as work continues on the $580 million Foxground and Berry bypass project.

Mr Ward said that Huntingdale Park Road at the intersection with Kangaroo Valley Road will be reopened to motorists as work continues to build the remaining half of the Kangaroo Valley Road roundabout.

“The intersection will be opened as a temporary T-intersection, which will allow the northern side of the roundabout to continue to be built,” he said.

“For the safety of workers and motorists, a roadwork speed limit of 40km/h and traffic control will be in place during work hours.

“From next Friday 18th November, the existing temporary intersection of the Princes Highway and Hitchcocks Lane will be permanently closed.

“Motorists will be able to access Hitchcocks Lane via Huntingdale Park Road.

“I would like to thank local motorists for their patience as this important project progresses,” Mr Ward concluded.
