Changed traffic conditions for night work on the Foxground and Berry Bypass
5 September 2017
Member for Kiama Gareth Ward has today advised local motorists there will be changed traffic conditions tonight on northbound lanes of the Princes Highway near Schofields Lane at Berry for work to install an electronic message sign.
Mr Ward said that once the electronic message sign is turned on it will provide motorists with real time messaging about traffic conditions.
“Work will involve the use of a crane and a cherry picker to install the sign structure and sign, and will be carried out at night to reduce the impact on motorists between 6pm and 7am, weather permitting,” he said.
“Changed traffic conditions including traffic control will be in place on the Princes Highway including single lane closures.
“Motorist should plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and all signs, including reduced speed limits.
