Changed traffic conditions on main street at Parkville

Michael Johnsen MP, Member for Upper Hunter wishes to advise motorists of essential maintenance work to be carried out from next week along Main Street at Parkville. The NSW Government is funding the work which involves road resurfacing to improve safety and travel times.
Work will be carried out from Monday 12 February between 7am to 8pm on weekdays, and between 8am to 6pm on Saturdays. It is expected work will be completed by Saturday 10 March, weather permitting.
Roads and Maritime will notify the community if any work is required outside these times.
Changed traffic conditions including lane closures will be in place as well as a reduced speed limit of 40km/h for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to keep to the reduced speed limit and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
