Changed traffic conditions on Head Street and Macintosh Street intersection at Forster

Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead wishes to advise local residents the NSW Roads and Maritime Service will soon begin Pedestrian Improvement and Road Resurfacing work in Forster.
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from Wednesday, at the Head Street and MacIntosh Street intersection at Forster, for pedestrian improvement work to be carried out.
Work will involve installing and upgrading concrete pedestrian refuges at the intersection and resurfacing the road.
Work will start on Wednesday 23 May and is expected to be completed by mid-June weather permitting.
To minimise impact to motorists, work will be carried out between 7pm and 5am from Sunday to Thursday. Some work will also be carried out between 7am and 5pm on weekdays.
Traffic control, intermittent lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
