Temporary closures of Middle Falbrook Bridge across Glennies Creek

Michael Johnsen MP, Member for Upper Hunter is advising motorists that the Middle Falbrook Bridge across Glennies Creek will be closed next week while Roads and Maritime Services carries out roadwork for the conservation of this heritage listed bridge.

Mr Johnsen said the bridge will be completely closed to traffic between 7am and 5pm on Wednesday 30 May, weather permitting.

“There will also be intermittent closures of up to 15 minutes on Friday 1 June, between 10am and 2pm,” Mr Johnsen said.

“During work on the bridge, motorists will be detoured through Glennies Creek Road and the New England Highway, or through Stoney Creek and Bridgman roads.

“Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
