Hunter Expressway community information session at Kurri Kurri

A Roads and Traffic Authority spokesperson said a Hunter Expressway information session would be held at Kurri Kurri this month, as part of the project’s ongoing community consultation.
“This session will provide the community with information about the Hunter Expressway project, including the operation of the six interchanges along the route,” the spokesperson said.
“Major work is continuing and the information session will detail the activities taking place along the full length of the 40 kilometre project.
“Project information, including maps, artist impressions and a 3D model of the Hunter Expressway will be available to view on the day,” the spokesperson said.
Community members with an interest in the project are welcome to drop in to the information session at any time:

“The Hunter Expressway team will continue to hold regular public information sessions at locations in the Hunter.
“The community will be informed through local media outlets about the time, date and location of upcoming community information sessions,” the spokesperson said.
The $1.7 billion project is jointly funded, with the Federal Government providing $1.5 billion and the NSW Government contributing $200 million.
