Community information sessions for Tintenbar to Ewingsdale upgrade
17 April 2012
Residents and businesses are invited to community information sessions being held for the Pacific Highway Tintenbar to Ewingsdale upgrade.
The sessions will give the community an opportunity to meet the project team, discuss the upgrade’s progress, ask questions and provide feedback.
Next week’s sessions will focus on road design and soil and water quality management.
The meetings will be held on Monday 23 April at Bangalow A & I Hall, Station Street, Bangalow. The first meeting will run from midday to 2.30pm and the second, between 5.30pm and 8pm.
The 16.3 kilometre Tintenbar to Ewingsdale upgrade starts at the northern end of the Ballina bypass at Ross Lane and will see the highway upgraded to a four-lane divided road to the Ewingsdale interchange.
The $862 million Tintenbar to Ewingsdale upgrade is jointly funded by the Federal and NSW governments.
