Night work on the Western Distributor in Sydney CBD
21 November 2012
Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) will carry out night work on the Western Distributor between King Street and the Sydney Harbour Bridge toll plaza at Millers Point.
“Work will be carried out on weeknights from Sunday 25 November from 9.30pm to 5am for about four weeks, weather permitting,” an RMS spokesperson said.
“The $150,000 project to replace road seals is fully funded by the NSW Government.
Some lane closures will be needed but at least one lane in both directions will remain open at all times.
“Electronic message signs will be in place from Monday 19 November to alert drivers to changed traffic conditions during work.
“Motorists are advised to drive with caution, obey all signs, including reduced speed limits, and allow extra travel time.
“For traffic information contact the Transport Management Centre on 132 701 or visit www.livetraffic.com,” the spokesperson said.
