Tree removal on Georges River Road at Croydon
Tuesday 22 January 2013
Motorists and residents are advised Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) will carry out tree removal on Georges River Road at Croydon this week.
Work will be carried out on 25 January from 7am to 6pm, weather permitting.
RMS will remove a Privet, Green Cestrum, Mulberry tree, poisoned stumps and a dead Magnolia tree.
The trees will be replaced with five Eucalyptus piluaris trees the following week which will require six weeks of maintenance.
The work is required to reduce the risk of injury to residents as well as reducing the risk of property damage.
Every effort will be made to minimise the impact of noise on local residents from the work.
