Speed limit change on Bylong Valley Way near Growee Gulph
Motorists are encouraged to slow down on a section of Bylong Valley Way near Growee Gulph with speed limit changes due to be implemented from Monday 9 September.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said the speed limit on this section of road was reviewed by Roads and Maritime Services as part of the NSW audit of speed zones.
“The existing 100 km/h zone will be reduced to 80 km/h for about 6.8 kilometres,” the spokesperson said.
“The reduced speed limit will start five kilometres north of the Breakfast Creek Road intersection and extend around one kilometre north of the Growee Road intersection.”
Warning signs will be in place to advise motorists of the changes and will remain for at least a week after the new speed limit signs have been installed.
Members of the community can sign up at the Safer Roads NSW website to provide feedback and receive updates on changes to permanent speed limits in their nominated area.
