Win a front row seat to Sydney's New Year's Eve fireworks
Residents of NSW are encouraged to enter the online draw to win a front row seat to Sydney’s New Year’s Eve fireworks.
Roads and Maritime Services is offering 1700 family passes, each one for five people to one of the best vantage points - the Cahill Expressway above Circular Quay.
“Millions of people tune in to the fireworks if they can’t get to the city but this is the opportunity for people to win tickets and a front row seat to enjoy the celebration first hand,” a Roads and Maritime spokesperson said.
“From today people can enter their household in the online draw on the Roads and Maritime website for either the 9pm or midnight fireworks.
“The family passes can be used for a group of individuals not necessarily a family so why not get a group of friends together and enter the competition.
“The event on the Cahill has been held for a decade now and we always receive thousands of entries so it is important to get entries in by the cut-off date.
“The Cahill Expressway is a specially designated family area and entry is by ticket only.
“The fireworks offer a great atmosphere and those who win a ticket to attend the closed Cahill Expressway can bring a picnic or choose from a range of hot food, cold drinks, tea and coffee which will be available for sale.
Pre-fireworks entertainment will also be provided.”
Entries close at 11.59pm Sunday 10 November and are restricted to one entry per household.
You must be a NSW resident to enter. For terms and conditions please visit the Roads and Maritime website.
For your chance to win visit www.rms.nsw.gov.au/nye13 and register your details.
