Roads and Maritime staff to observe Remembrance Day where possible
Roads and Maritime Services staff working within registries around the state are being encouraged to observe a minute’s silence on Monday 11 November for Remembrance Day.
“While we are aware it may be difficult for all staff to stop work at 11am, we would like to remind customers we hope to mark this significant milestone where possible,” a Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said.
“Remembrance Day gives us an opportunity to pause and reflect on those who have died or been injured in all wars or defence conflicts.
“Roads and Maritime thanks customers for their understanding and patience.”
