Changed traffic conditions on Corrimal Street for road resurfacing
Motorists are reminded changed traffic conditions will be in place at night mid next month for work to resurface Corrimal Street at Wollongong.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said work to will be carried out on Wednesday 15 January from 7pm to 5am, to minimise traffic disruptions.
“Roads and Maritime Services advises electronic signs will be in place to direct motorists to a northbound detour via Georges Place, Cliff Rd and Bourke St during the work,” the spokeperson said.
“Semitrailer and B-double drivers are advised to detour south along Springhill Road and Masters Road to the Princes Motorway.
“Motorists should plan their journey, allow extra travel time and follow all signs and the direction of traffic controllers.
“We recognise the impact that this work will have on locals and visitors and we thank them for their patience,” the spokesperson said.
Every effort will be made to reduce noise from the work.
Wet weather may change dates and times.
