Have your say on The Frederickton to Eungai Pacific Highway Upgrade
4 February 2014
Local residents and businesses are invited to a community information session about the 26.5 kilometre Frederickton to Eungai Pacific Highway upgrade.
Once completed, the new section will link Kempsey bypass and the existing dual carriageway north of Eungai Rail.Roads and Maritime Services and the project team will use the information session to provide an update on the project’s progress and upcoming activities.
The information session gives the community an opportunity to discuss the project and to ask questions and provide feedback.
The session will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 13 February at Frederickton School Hall, Great North Road at Frederickton.
Residents and businesses must register for the evening by calling the toll free number 1800 012 611 for catering purposes.
The Frederickton to Eungai project is the second stage of the 40 kilometre Kempsey to Eungai project. Stage one, the Kempsey bypass, was opened to traffic in March last year.
The $675 million Frederickton to Eungai upgrade is jointly funded by the Australian and NSW governments and is scheduled for completion in 2016, weather permitting.
