Roads and Maritime Services has granted an exclusive use aquatic licence to the Rotary club of Milton Ulladulla for the safe staging of a fireworks display on Ulladulla harbour on Sunday 20 April.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said boaters should be aware of an exclusion zone in and around the harbour on Sunday from 6pm to 10pm.
“The exclusion zone for the annual blessing of the fleet fireworks will be in place between the southern side of the northern break wall, the harbour entrance and the inner harbour,” the spokesperson said.
“The area will include the Northern Regional public boat ramp and jetties associated within the site. The area will be closed to all unauthorised vessels.
“This is an inaugural event for Ulladulla Harbour and is expected to attract a large number of spectators,” the spokesperson said.
There will be noise associated with the event however, every effort will be made to minimise impacts to nearby residents and businesses.
