Work under way On $720,000 upgrade of Richmond Road At Woodcroft

Motorists will soon be able to travel on a wider, safer Richmond Road at Woodcroft with a major project under way to replace sections of the surface and improve drainage
The NSW Government has provided $720,000 to improve Richmond Road between Knox Road and Eucumbene Drive at Woodcroft by repairing and replacing concrete slabs on the road and installing new bicycle-safe storm water grates,” a Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said.
“The work aims to provide a stronger and more durable surface to improve travel for all road users, including cyclists.
Work is being carried out on weekdays from 9pm to 5am until Wednesday 8 October, excluding Saturdays and weather permitting.
Roads and Maritime has contracted DownerMouchel to deliver this work.
Lane closures and electronic message signs will be in place to guide motorists.
Every effort will be made to minimise the impact of noise on residents and businesses.
Motorists are reminded to follow all signs including reduced speed limits.
