Have a say on the Woolgoolga to Glenugie section of the Pacific Highway upgrade

Community feedback is invited to the draft urban design, landscaping plan and proposal to modify the road level for the Woolgoolga to Glenugie section of the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade.

Detailed design work is progressing well for the section which starts about six kilometres north of Woolgoolga and ends about 15 kilometres south of Grafton, near Glenugie.

“This section of road is part of the 155 kilometre Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade of the Pacific Highway,” a Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said.

“The project team is looking at a number of design features which are now available for community input,” the spokesperson said.

The urban design and landscaping plan is on display until Friday 24 October at the following locations:

  • Coffs Harbour City Council
    2 Castle Street, Coffs Harbour
    Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Woolgoolga Library
    Ganderton Street, Woolgoolga
    Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5pm, Saturday 9.30am – 12pm
  • Clarence Valley Council (Grafton)
    2 Prince Street, Grafton
    Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • Roads and Maritime Services, Pacific Highway office
    21 Prince Street, Grafton
    Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm

Roads and Maritime is also proposing to change the road level and landowners surrounding the affected areas are entitled to make submissions.
