Community Feedback Report for Pacific Highway upgrade at Lisarow now online
23 October 2014
Roads and Maritime Services invites the community to view the consultation report summarising responses to feedback during the display of the preferred option for the upgrade of the Pacific Highway between Ourimbah Street and Parsons Road at Lisarow.
A Roads and Maritime spokesperson said the preferred option for the section of highway between Ourimbah Street and Parsons Road at Lisarow was displayed for community comment in November and December last year.
“A community and stakeholder consultation report summarising the feedback received during the display has been prepared and is now available on the Roads and Maritime website,” a Roads and Maritime spokesperson said.
“Feedback from the community related to the proposed design of intersections, safety, cyclist and pedestrian facilities and reducing the impacts to traffic, access and property.”A Roads and Maritime spokesperson said in response to the community’s feedback, further investigations were carried out and a concept design and review of environmental factors (REF) for the section of road between Ourimbah Street and Parsons Road at Lisarow is being prepared.
“Roads and Maritime will invite further feedback to the concept design and REF for community comment later this year and invites community members to remain engaged as planning progresses.
