Changed traffic conditions on old Hume Highway at Mittagong

Roads and Maritime Services advises motorists changed traffic conditions will be in place for essential maintenance on the Old Hume Highway at Mittagong from Monday 9 March.

Night work will take place between Alice Street and about 200 metres north of Beatrice Street to improve safety for motorists by repairing the road surface.

Work will be carried out between 8pm and 5am each night from Monday 9 March to Friday 13 March, weather permitting.

Lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place each night and traffic control will operate for the safety of motorists and workers.

The NSW Government allocated $80,000 for this essential maintenance work.

Electronic message signs will display up to date information for motorists including any date changes.
