Have your say on intersection changes on Catherine Field Road

31 July 2015

Community members are invited to have a say on improvements for the proposed intersection upgrade at Camden Valley Way and Catherine Field Road at Catherine Field.

Feedback is invited on new proposed speed humps and improved street lighting near the intersection of Centenary Place planned as part of the $280 million NSW Government funded Camden Valley Way upgrade currently under way.

The improvements were developed in response to access changes carried out at Deepfields Road which have increased traffic flow on Catherine Field Road.

Feedback is now invited to improvements including two new speed humps, two new street lights, new pedestrian fences, the installation new kerbs and additional line marking.

Community members are invited to provide feedback by Friday 14 August to Roads and Maritime Project Delivery Manager Rajkumar Anton Sukumar, PO Box 973, Parramatta NSW 2124 or by email to rajkumar.sukumar@rms.nsw.gov.au.

Roads and Maritime will continue to work with Camden Council to reduce the impact of these access changes to the local road network.

The remaining section of the 10.7 kilometre Camden Valley Way upgrade from Bringelly Road to Oran Park Drive is on track to open to traffic by late this year.
