Stage three work starts on Mid Western Highway upgrade near Goolgowi

Roads and Maritime Services will start work later this month on the third stage of rebuilding work along the Mid Western Highway to improve safety for motorists.
The NSW Government allocated $2 million for the project which aims to improve road conditions and safety for motorists, a Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said.
“Work will include widening of road shoulders and repairs to the road surface.
“Work will be carried out on weekdays from Monday 17 August between 7am and 6pm and 8am and 1pm on Saturdays, weather permitting.
“A reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours to ensure the safety of road users and workers.
“Work is expected to be completed in October, weather permitting.”
