Changed traffic conditions on Castlereagh Highway near Coonamble
27 October 2015
Roads and Maritime Services advises motorists of geotechnical work on the Castlereagh Highway about 27 kilometres north of Coonamble this week.
Crews will be checking ground conditions for future road work along sections of the highway between Beanbah Road and Tahrone Raod, north of Coonamble.
Work will take place from 7am to 6pm on Tuesday 27 October until Thursday 29 October, weather permitting.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane and the speed limit reduced to 40 km/h, with traffic control in place around the worksite, for the safety of motorists and workers.
Motorists should plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow speed limit and traffic control signs.
Roads and Maritime thanks motorists for their patience during this important road work.
