Have your say on a new electronic messaging sign on the Hume Highway at Menangle Park
27 October 2015
The community is invited to have a say on the proposed installation of a permanent electronic messaging sign on the Hume Highway at Menangle Park.
“The NSW Government has allocated funding to build a new electronic messaging sign on the Hume Highway between Menangle Road and Morton Park Road to provide road users with up-to-date information on traffic conditions,” A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said.
“All feedback will be considered in finalising the proposal and community members are encouraged to have a say by Sunday 1 November.
“Installation of electronic message signs at key locations across the network aims to provide motorists with advanced notice of planned and unplanned incidents across the road network.
“The new electronic messaging sign will provide road users with important information including delays, crashes, special events and detours along the Hume Highway as well as information on traffic conditions on the M5 Motorway, the M7 Motorway, The Northern Road, Campbelltown Road, Camden Valley Way and Narellan Road.
“The community will continue to be updated as the project progresses.”
Community members are encouraged to provide feedback to Hume Motorway Permanent Electronic Message Sign, PO Box 6465 North Ryde NSW 2113 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
