Have your say on proposed work on Hill Road and Carter Street at Olympic Park
13 January 2017
Community members are asked to provide feedback on proposed intersection improvements at Hill Road and Carter Street, Olympic Park.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said the proposed initiative was part of the $1.8 million Parramatta Road traffic and road improvements package.
“The NSW Government is committed to improving traffic flow and the road network,” the spokesperson said.
“Work at the intersection includes installing a right turn bay northbound from Hill Road into Carter Street by removing a southbound lane, between Old Hill Link and the M4 off ramp.
“Barriers are also proposed to prohibit right turns into Carter Street from the M4 off ramp and adjusting the location of the existing Sydney Olympic Park parking sign on Hill Road.”
Feedback on the intersection improvement is invited by Monday 13 February to the project delivery partner Ventia Boral Amey Joint Venture at firstname.lastname@example.org or PO Box 838 Rockdale NSW 2216.
Roads and Maritime will carefully consider all feedback and will continue to keep the community updated as the proposal progresses.
“Further changes to lane arrangements and turning movements are planned at the Carter Street intersection under the M4 Hill Road Westbound off ramp proposal which will be open for consultation in mid-2017,” the spokesperson said.
