Boat licence online study guides
Changes to marine legislation on 1 July 2016 saw the removal of the requirement for general boat or personal watercraft (PWC) licence applicants to complete a theory-based boating safety course. However, licence applicants are still required to undertake practical boat training and a knowledge test before getting a licence.
As such, Roads and Maritime has developed two online boat driving licence study guides to help licence applicants prepare for the knowledge test they are required to undertake.
In the study guides you’ll find useful information for operating a vessel under a general boat driving licence or a personal watercraft driving licence.
