Maritime Infrastructure Delivery Office (MIDO)
The Maritime Infrastructure Delivery Office (MIDO) is a joint initiative between Roads and Maritime Services and the Department of Industry (DoI) to improve the coordination and delivery of coastal and boating infrastructure programs and projects across NSW that support recreational boating, fishing, tourism and a range of other commercial activities.
The MIDO is responsible for:
- Delivering key projects and programs including Roads and Maritime's Boating Now program, maritime asset management functions and geospatial services.
- Delivering Dol's Coastal Infrastructure Program, Rescuing our Waterways dredging program and a number of major projects including the Eden Breakwater Wharf Extension project and the Eden Safe Harbour project.
- Providing a one-stop-shop for councils, industry and other delivery partners looking for guidance and support on their own maritime infrastructure and dredging projects. This includes offering up-front advice in the early stages of the application process for future grant programs.
