Aquatic activity operational plan

This template has been developed as a guide for applicants completing the aquatic activity risk assessment required with any aquatic licence application. Not all elements of this template will be applicable to all activities, and the level of detail included should be commensurate with the activity type, scale and associated risks. Attach any supporting documentation such as maps, diagrams, tables or contact lists.

Sailing event conditions

Sailing events are exempt from the requirement to hold an aquatic licence provided the organiser complies with the conditions in the attached document. If you have any questions about the exemption or are unsure if it applies to your event, please contact Roads and Maritime at least 6 weeks prior to the event on 13 12 36

Sailing event notification form

This form must be completed by all organisers conducting sailing events under the aquatic licence exemption. The form must be submitted a minimum 6 weeks prior to conducting the event. A single form can be used for all events within a 12 month period.
