From Sunday 3 September 2017 for approximately 6 weeks
Vessel operators are advised that the Roads and Maritime Services network of Aids to Navigation on Alpine waterways have been affected by environmental factors as of Sunday 3 September 2017.
Vessel operators are advised to exercise caution when navigating on Alpine waterways, including Lake Jindabyne and Eucumbene.
As a result of high winds a number of Aids to Navigation may be off-station as of Sunday 3 September 2017. Roads and Maritime is currently assessing the network of Aids to Navigation on Alpine waters and, where necessary, remedial works will be undertaken as soon as possible.
Vessel operators on all Alpine waters are reminded to check current weather forecasts, be mindful of variable water levels, and for all persons on board a vessel less than 4.8 metres in length to wear an appropriate lifejacket.
