M1 Pacific Motorway to Newcastle - completed

Roads and Maritime Services upgraded six intersections along the 13 kilometre route between the M1 Pacific Motorway at Seahampton and Newcastle. This $50 million project was funded by the NSW Government.

Project background

Roads and Maritime carried out the intersection upgrades to improve traffic flow and road safety for all motorists.

The six intersections were selected in 2011 after a study to identify and prioritise future upgrades and subsequent community consultation.
