Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge on the M1 Pacific Motorway

Roads and Maritime Services is carrying out essential maintenance work on the northbound and southbound lanes of the Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge.

Roads and Maritime is continuing to carry out road resurfacing and line marking on Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge.

Work is being carried out at night between 7pm and 5am from Tuesday 30 January 2018 and is expected to be completed by mid-February 2018, weather permitting.

A detour for northbound heavy vehicles will be in place between the Calga and Somersby interchanges.

The detour will be in place between 9pm and 4am on Sunday 4 February 2018, weather permitting.

The detour is expected to add up to 12 kilometres to journeys, which is about an additional 12 minutes travel time.

The NSW Government is funding essential maintenance work on Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge on the M1 Pacific Motorway to provide a stronger, longer lasting and safer road.

The work will involve carrying out road resurfacing and line marking on the northbound and southbound lanes of the bridge.

Work will be carried out between 7pm and 5am and is expected to be completed by mid-February 2018, weather permitting.
