The facility would be established and operated on George Booth Drive, Buchanan at a site previously used as a precast facility for the Hunter Expressway project.

Construction works for the proposal would include:

  • Re-instating fencing around the site
  • Installing site office facilities
  • Inspecting existing facilities including waste water treatment facilities and completing any necessary repairs.

The proposed facility would include:

  • A demountable site compound office
  • precast yard, including existing shed for construction of precast units and storage laydown
  • Waste water treatment facilities consisting of septic tanks, sand filtration system and sediment basin
  • On-site parking for up to 60 vehicles.
