Coffs Harbour - Cook Drive intersection
The Cook Drive intersection with the Pacific Highway upgrade was completed by Roads and Maritime Services in alliance with Coffs CityWorks, a branch of the Coffs Harbour City Council.
The work involved realigning Cook Drive to form a four way intersection with the Pacific Highway and Boambee Road. The upgrade aimed to improve traffic flow and safety for all road users. More than 30,000 vehicles use this intersection each day and the figure is expected to rise to 45,000 by 2021.
Work was completed in October 2014.
The $8.5 million intersection upgrade was funded by the NSW Government.
