Sancrox interchange

Roads and Maritime engaged Ferrovial Agroman Australia to build the Sancrox interchange as part of early works for the Oxley Highway to Kundabung project. The project opened to traffic on 30 November 2015.

Project background

The Sancrox Interchange is part of the overall Oxley Highway to Kempsey Pacific Highway upgrade. It includes building local service roads and a bridge over the Pacific Highway at Sancrox about 600 metres south of the existing Sancrox Road intersection.

Major construction started in August 2014.

Key construction activities

September to December 2015

  • Complete road surface
  • Finalise kerb and guttering, footpaths, signage, linemarking and guardrails
  • Start landscaping, including planting of trees and shrubs
  • Open intersection to traffic.
