Opportunities for locals
Pacific Complete is responsible for managing procurement packages and smaller and larger packages are being developed to achieve cost efficiencies through better access to competitive suppliers and subcontractors.
In July and August the first round of industry briefing sessions were held in Sydney, Grafton and Ballina with a significant representation of industry attending each event.
Businesses are being encouraged to register their interest in working on Woolgoolga to Ballina and where appropriate pre-qualify so Roads and Maritime and Pacific Complete have a better understanding of business’ capabilities and capacities. This is to ensure businesses of all sizes are informed of opportunities to be involved in the project.
Pre-registered businesses receive automatic notifications of upcoming tender opportunities.
Local contractors are encouraged to gain the required accreditations to work on Woolgoolga to Ballina and where possible local employment will be supported. For more detailed information on the procurement strategy please email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the Pacific complete website and fill out the registration of interest form.
For information on prequalification requirements see the Roads and Maritime Services prequalification scheme.
