The NSW Government is planning this proposal as part of its $300 million Urban Roads Pinch Point Program, which aims to reduce congestion and improve travel times on Sydney’s busiest corridors.

Updates and announcements

In November 2016, Roads and Maritime Services sought feedback on a proposal to extend the existing southbound right turn bay on Hume Highway into Memorial Avenue, Liverpool.

We have now prepared a Community Consultation Report (PDF, 464Kb) that summarises the feedback we received and our responses.

After careful review of this feedback as well as consideration of the proposal’s aims and design requirements, we have decided not to progress with the project.
