Roads and Maritime are currently reviewing the feedback received during the consultation period.

Project background

The NSW Government is planning this proposal as part of its $300 million Urban Roads Pinch Point Program, which aims to reduce congestion and improve travel times on Sydney’s busiest corridors.

Project features

The work would include extending the existing southbound right turn bay on the Hume Highway into Memorial Avenue, Liverpool through the existing centre median and upgrading the centre median and kerb.

Community engagement

Roads and Maritime sought community and stakeholder feedback in November 2016.
